Executive Director & CEO
Richard became CEO of Malvern International in June 2020. He is the co-founder of the subsidiary Communicate School. Communicate grew quickly and was acquired by Malvern in July 2018.
Group Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Wei Lin joined Malvern since January 2017, prior to that, Wei was heading the administration and student services department in one of the largest international education providers in New Zealand. Wei has extensive knowledge and experience in running operation and special projects for CEO in the previous job. Wei Lin is a graduate from Auckland University of Technology and is now pursing MBA. She believes education is the most powerful weapon one can use to change the world. When not at work, Wei enjoys driving, travelling and golf.
UK Senior Academic Advisor
Prof. Ian Brooks has recently joined the group as the UK Senior Academic advisor. Professor Brooks has recently retired from his position as the Deputy Dean of the Business school. Now Director at Brooks International Education Limited and Visiting Professor of the University of Northampton, he was the Executive Dean of the Northampton Business School (NBS), at the University of Northampton until 2016. The school was nominated in 2014, 2015 for the Times Higher Education Business School of the Year. He was also the University’s strategic lead for internationalisation, academic alliances, the taught portfolio and academic planning and Director of the University’s International Office and the Academic Partnership and Planning Office. A Fellow of the RSA, his teaching and research background lies in organisational behaviour and business strategy.
Professor Ian Brooks has published his work in many peer reviewed journals, including Organization Studies, the British Journal of Management and Long Range Planning. His popular text book, Organisational Behaviour, is in its 4th edition (5th shortly). He now combines a range of board level responsibilities with higher education advisory and consultancy activity in the private and public sectors in the UK and overseas. As a UK Senior Academic Advisor, Professor Brook will provide support to the executive team towards it programme and partnership expansion.
General Manager & Principal, Malvern House International
Mr. Kris Hall became the General Manager of Malvern House in August 2017. He completed his Post Graduate studies at the University of Westminster – where he studied Health and Social Care Management – and has been a senior manager in the Private Sector, Third Sector and Education Sector for over 20-years.
Student Welfare and the student experience is a key focus for Kris and he has been the Safeguarding Lead at an organisational level for both a Pan-London charity and international education group over the last decade.

Assistant Principal and Director of Studies, Malvern House Brighton
Sacha, is a Cambridge DELTA-qualified manager and teacher. She has over 7 years teaching experience and over 4 years management experience in Vietnam and the UK. Sacha provides professional development and support for both new and established EFL teachers.
General Manager & Principal, Malvern Juniors
Emiliano Sallustri ,is a native of Italy and has grown up with a strong connection to the summer language school business. He has a wide range of organisational experience in the travel language industry and most recently has been directly responsible for the operations staff and smooth running of our existing and new summer schools. As a Level 3 qualified Safeguarding Lead, he is also in charge of welfare and safeguarding.
General Manager - Manchester (Communicate School of English)
Karen Page joined Communicate School of English/Malvern Manchester in February 2020 as the General Manager. She has worked in the industry for over 20 years enjoying various roles in the UK and overseas.
‘Having a teaching background, I am always interested in listening to students and hearing their story on why they are studying English and what they want to achieve. Each student has a different story to tell and we work hard in school to help students achieve their goals – big or small! Acting Financial Controller
Fahim Razzak Joined Malvern in December 2017. Fahim qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Grant Thornton UK LLP. and he is also a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA). Within finance, he guides the treasury, finance, audit and tax functions to pursue the company’s aggressive growth strategy and meet its clients’ and investors’ expectations.
Prior to joining Malvern, Fahim worked within finance function in Barclays Plc, and as auditor/tax advisor with Grant Thornton UK LLP. As an auditor, he was involved in various audit/tax related assignments within education sector. Fahim is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
