Malvern to offer English Courses with University of East London

Malvern International PLC said on Wednesday it has agreed a partnership with the University of East London to deliver English courses for international students.

Shares in Malvern rose 7.7% to 3.50 pence each on Wednesday afternoon.

The partnership will see Malvern “established as an embedded college” with the university delivering pre-sessional foundation and English courses for international students, initially at undergraduate level but with a pre-masters programme due in 2019.

Students taking the course will be fully enrolled as UEL students. Additionally, Malvern and UEL will provide “flexible-duration” English as second language courses for pre-undergraduate and pre-master’s students.
