Triple Win for Malvern London

The college exceeds expectations for the quality of education. ISI, November 2022.

We are extremely pleased to announce that Malvern London has been recognised as “Excellent” by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) for the:

  1. Quality of the curriculum, teaching and learners’ achievements
  2. Students’ welfare including health and safety
  3. Effectiveness of governance, leadership and management.

“The ISI don’t just accredit language schools, they accredit all kinds of Private Schools across the UK. For example, they accredit Eton College, one of the most prestigious private schools in the country – a school that has so far given Britain 20 of its Prime Ministers. So, when the inspectors revealed that, in their view, Malvern London has achieved ‘Excellence’ in a similar number of areas as Eton College, I was exceedingly proud.

Malvern House London is accredited by both the British Council and the ISI. The ISI inspectors are always very senior figures in UK Education, and we were extremely lucky to have an experienced lead inspector, for whom Malvern London was his 257th inspection.

Inspections are thorough – they look at teaching, course development, management of staff and students, health and safety, physical environment of the school, student welfare and the social programme. Inspectors talk to teachers and interview students about their experiences.

As the Principal, I know how much all of us at the school care about our students and their journey, and how much effort the team puts in to make sure students have a fantastic experience.

As a result of this, we are all very proud of our school and think that we are one of the very best in London.

So, to have this confirmed – by independent industry professionals, who study schools for a living – is a rather wonderful feeling.”

Kris Hall, Principal, Malvern London.
